5 Tuition is calculated at $71.25 per credit hour for enrolled tribal members up to twelve (12) credit hours for full-time status. Additional credit hours over fifteen (15) hours will be charged per credit hour. Summer session full-time credit hour is calculated according to the number of weeks plus one. Therefore tuition is based on number of credit hours up to full time status.
Since books and supply costs vary from program to program and year to year, costs for books and supplies are calculated separately from tuition rates but still apply as part of the total coast of attendance.
On-Line Course Fee: $35.00 fee for each on-line course to cover support service (i.e., tutoring and on-line learning tools).

Child Care Services Tuition and Fees
NTU Students
Tuition and rate applies to NTU Student schedule (30) minutes before scheduled class and (30) minutes after scheduled class. Online courses will be given (2) hours of study time per credit. (Ex: 3 credit online course = 6 hours of child care services for enrolled child). Child Care Director will meet with NTU Students utilizing their financial aid to pay for child care services prior to child care services, to devise a Child Care Service schedule for the semester child is enrolled.

Refund Policy
Students who officially withdraw or drop courses are entitled to a partial tuition refund depending on date of withdrawal. All additional fees are nonrefundable. Any refunds due to the student will be processed by the NTU Business Office and approved by the Registrar and Finance Director. Refund checks will be mailed to the student once processed. Refunds amounts are calculated according to the following guidelines:
Tuition and Course Fee Refunds/Credits:
Tuition will be refunded or credited to a student’s account according to the following schedule which is based upon the regular semester schedule:
- 100% refund – before instruction begins
- 80% refund – 1 to 14 calendar days
- 60% refund – 15 to 21 calendar days
- 40% refund – 22 to 28 calendar days
- 20% refund – 29 to 35 calendar days
- 0% refund – after the 35th calendar day
Summer school refund will be determined according to the number of weeks in the summer session.
Meal plan refunds/credits:
The meal plan charge will be prorated per week. A meal plan refund form must be approved by the Culinary Arts/Food Services Coordinator and Finance Director.
Book store refunds or credits:
Books and accompanying disks or workbooks may be returned if items are returned in good or original condition in order to receive any refund.
Student Billing Policy
It is the sole responsibility of the student for paying or fulfilling all financial obligations to the college prior to graduation. In absence of meeting this financial obligation, official college transcripts will not be provided to the student, potential employers, and/or other institutions of higher learning and student will not be able to receive his/her certificate or degree until the financial obligation is met. Unmet financial obligations to the college will also prevent re-admission to NTU.
