For six months now, NTU has been actively participating in a program entitled, Project Success, an initiative where as an institution we've been analyzing student data and using it to identify factors that are preventing our students from graduating on time. While many of those factors are a result of the many barriers we face operating as a rurally-located, tribal university, they also stem from the day-to-day struggles that our students experience trying to obtain a higher education.

As a result, we've incorporated an Emergency Aid program to assist students with unexpected financial crisis situations, and we'll be soon rolling out a Paid Internship program to help provide students with an opportunity to apply what they're learning in class while also earning a wage.

Members of NTU's Project Success team will be giving several overview presentations about the program to STUDENTS next week. The first presentation will take place on Monday, September 25th, and will include two sessions - one at 10 AM and the other at 2 PM. Both presentations will take place in the Meeting Room of the Student Union Building. We will also be presenting to our Chinle campus on September 28th at 1 PM at a location to be determined. We will be sure to notify everyone when that location is secured.
